*Recently, due to delays in flight departure time, more and more airlines are not providing secondary baggage handling services in front of the gate.
Asiana Airlines (OZ), China Eastern Airlines (MU), China Southern Airlines (CZ), China Tianjin Airlines (GS), Shanghai Airlines (FM), Air China (CA), Cathay Pacific Airlines (CX), and Lufthansa Airlines (LH) cannot handle luggage size LUGGAGEs due to the above reasons, so please check with individual airlines before purchasing and proceed with the baggage service.

1. All products purchased can be opened immediately at the place where they were delivered regardless of the packaging sticker (no opening), and at this time, please contact the staff at the place where the product is delivered for any abnormalities.

2. LUGGAGEs are classified as baggage LUGGAGEs according to airline regulations, except for products marked 55/20 in the product name, which can be received at the delivery station and requested to process additional baggage in front of the boarding gate immediately before boarding the plane.
However, please note that only a few airlines, such as Lufthansa Airlines (LH), do not process additional baggage.

3. When handling additional luggage for the second time in front of the boarding gate, the regulations (weight, number) of free luggage are different for each airline, so please contact your airline before purchasing for additional charges.

4. In case of non-direct transfer when handling additional baggage, it may be changed from the initial baggage regulation to the baggage regulation of the transfer flight, so please contact the airline for additional charges.

5. Even if it is an in-flight size LUGGAGE, it may be restricted depending on the airline's circumstances, such as the size of each airline.

6. In addition to the weight and number of items, additional charges incurred during baggage handling may incur costs due to the size of the LUGGAGE's three sides (width and width) of more than 158 centimeters.

7. As a way to minimize scratches and contamination that may occur during the baggage handling process, we recommend that you purchase an appropriate size LUGGAGE cover when purchasing a LUGGAGE. Most products, except for the black label products of Samsonite and some, do not have a cover.

8. It is absolutely impossible to exchange or refund the LUGGAGE because of scratches, wear, or breakage of the LUGGAGE that may occur due to the nature of the LUGGAGE material during the baggage handling process. Please claim damages from the airline due to careless handling by the airline concerned.

9. Products with dial-type keypad attached to the LUGGAGE will not be given a separate key even if the LUGGAGE has a keyhole.
Lockdown is enabled after setting the password with the dial. The initial password for the LUGGAGE is the number 0-0-0, and in that state, the LUGGAGE is opened by pushing the square with the keyhole sideways or moving the arrow-direction on the lock.

10. There is no zipper loop where the inner bottom cloth of the LUGGAGE has a zipper. This zipper is not the part you use, but the repair zipper that you use for A/S of the product. This is normal and this does not apply to defective products.

11. Contamination of new LUGGAGE wheels that have not been used is a manufacturing process that is not related to the quality of the product and is not a cause for defect.
(The inside of the wheel contains some choke components when combining PU material, which sometimes causes spewing, which may be mistaken for a feeling of use.)

13. Products that fall under accessories (LUGGAGE cover, neck pillow, LUGGAGE belt, lock, etc.)Please understand that A/S service is not available.

14. Be careful because all products may be exposed to rainwater or a large amount of moisture, such as discoloration, bleaching, and deformation of the product.
Also, please be careful because the product may be deformed even if it is exposed to strong dehumidifiers.

15. In the case of fabric, use wool shampoo or neutral detergent to remove stains and dry them in the shade, and in the case of leather, use a special cleaner. However, during the removal or drying process, color differences may occur from areas that have not been completely removed or have not been contaminated, depending on the type or degree of contamination.
This process is a self-washing method, and it is impossible to leave it to the manufacturer for washing.

Guidelines on cancellation/exchange/refund

1. A product can be exchanged or refunded within 30 days of pick-up. It cannot be refunded or exchanged in the event of one of the following:
ㆍThe product damaged or lost due to a reason for which the customer is responsible (excluding damage of packaging for the purpose of verifying what is inside).
The product’s value decreased significantly due to its use or partial consumption by the customer.
The product’s value decreased to the point that it cannot be re-sold (due to passage of time).
ㆍPackaging been damaged for a duplicate product.

In the case of set products, partial cancellation/return is not available. If you wish to cancel or return your purchase, you must cancel/return the entire set.

2. If the product does not appear as it was advertised or contracted, it can be exchanged or refunded within three months of the date it was received (within 30 days of the date the customer was made aware or could have been aware of such discrepancy).


3. The procedure for exchanging or refunding a duty free item adheres to all relevant tariff laws.

To exchange duty free purchases, please place and pick up orders again after refunds have been processed.

4. Refunds are made to the mode of payment used at purchase.
    The refunded amount will, in the event of one of the following, be sent to the bank account registered under the name of the individual leaving the country that was listed when applying for cancellation.

ㆍCancelled 30 days after payment via bankbook-free wire transfer

5. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay any costs incurred by returning a product for a reason other than a malfunction or manufacturer’s error (change of mind, etc.).
   (Customers who reside in Seoul or Gyeonggi-do may not send the product via postal mail. They must bring it to the store from which it was purchased in person.)

Shopping guide
All products purchased through HDDFS are duty free. They can be purchased only on the condition that they are taken out of the country (e.g. to be used overseas, to give as a gift for someone who lives overseas). Duty free shopping is unavailable for all travel within Korea (including Jeju-do).
Only customers who are 14 or older may shop (register for membership or make a non-member purchase) at HDDFS.
Duty free purchases must be made after having logged in with the ID of the person who is leaving the country. Pick-up will not be permitted if the information of the order/customer is different from that (nationality, gender, English name as it appears in passport, passport number, passport expiration date, etc.) of the person going overseas.
The purchased product must be picked up from the designated pick-up location on the departure date.
When shopping at an offline location, make sure to bring your passport and e-ticket (mobile or paper version) that displays your departure information.
Products may be purchased online or from an offline location from 60 days before the departure date.
HDDFS Online is operated year-round on a 24-hour basis.
Pick-up timeframes may vary depending on company policy or mode of transport.
The purchase timeframe varies for each airport according to departure times.

You can pick up your purchase(s) on your departure date at the designated counter(s) at the departure gate of the airport or port after presenting your boarding pass, passport, and exchange bill.
Your pick-up location will most likely be crowded on your departure date. It is therefore recommended that you visit the pick-up location at least one hour before your flight or voyage.
When ordering, please make sure to enter the correct flight number and time to ensure that you receive your purchase(s).
Duty free purchases cannot be mailed to the customer’s place of residence; they can only be picked up before boarding an airplane or ship at the designated pick-up location. There is no separate storage section for duty free purchases. (Purchases also cannot be picked up when returning to the country.)
Please present your passport, boarding pass, and exchange bill at the HDDFS pick-up location of the airport from which you are departing. After the employee confirms your identity, you will be able to pick up your purchase.
If the information entered at the time of purchase (nationality, gender, English name as it appears in passport, passport number, passport expiration date, etc.) does not match that of the (passport of the) person going overseas, pick-up will not be permitted.
When picking up your purchase, make sure to check that you received the correct product and quantity and that it is in good condition before signing the pick-up confirmation form. If there is a problem with your purchase, you must notify the employee immediately.
HDDFS Online does not assume any responsibility for products that have been picked up or departed.

If you are unable to print out the exchange bill, write down the exchange bill number or send the file to yourself via SMS. Present a screenshot of the exchange bill with your passport and boarding pass when asked.

According to the regulations of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) on preventing explosive liquids from being brought onto a plane, liquids and gel-type products are permitted onboard in limited quantities only. Please keep this in mind when making your purchase.

Products that require a lithium-ion battery of 160Wh or higher cannot be included in carry-on luggage. Because regulations regarding lithium-ion batteries vary among airlines and countries, please make the relevant inquiry to the airline in advance of your flight.


Items that cannot be included in carry-on luggage
According to the regulations of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) on preventing explosive liquids/gels (cosmetics, perfumes, red ginseng extract, beverages, toothpaste, hair gel, shampoo, mascara, lipstick, sprays, extra lithium-ion batteries, fountain pens, etc.) from being brought onto a plane, liquids and gel-type products are permitted onboard in limited quantities only. Please keep this in mind when making your purchase.

For direct flights
Items that are packaged in a transparent, tamper-evident bag provided by any duty free store may be brought onto the plane regardless of quantity or size.
Items that are packaged in a transparent, tamper-evident bag along with the receipt issued by HDDFS Online at the time of purchase (either in the bag or taped to the outside of it) may be brought onto the plane.
The transparent, tamper-evident bag may be opened only after arriving at your final destination. If there are traces of the bag having been opened or damaged, it will not be allowed to be brought onto the plane.

For stopover flights
Restrictions on the purchase of liquids and gels that can be included in carry-on luggage vary by layover and final destination. Please check the rules for your particular layover and final destination in advance.
If a liquid or gel product is taken to a layover location that does not permit the purchase of liquids or gels, HDDFS will not take any responsibility for the purchased product. Please keep this in mind when making your purchase.
When transferring to another airline, the security regulations of the relevant country may entail the seizure of liquids. Please make inquiries to the relevant airline in advance.
As a rule, liquids and gels must be transported inside luggage. Even if the product is unused/new, if it is not carried in a luggage bag, it will not be allowed on the plane.
Personal items may be brought onto a plane only if they satisfy the following regulations regarding carry-on personal items.
    - Example 1 : Layover in the US
                         Liquids and gels in opaque or metal containers are not permitted on the plane. Only products in transparent containers are permitted.
    - Example 2 : Destination of a layover flight is in a US or Australian territory, Canada, or the Virgin Islands
                         Liquids and gels are not allowed to be purchased.

Regulations on In-flight personal items
Only items inside a transparent ziplocked bag (1L) are permitted.
Quantity limit: 100ml or less per container. A total of only 1L of product is permitted.
The transparent ziplocked bag must be approximately 20cm in length and width. The bag must be zipped closed in order to be brought onto the plane.
If the transparent ziplocked bag is not completely closed, it will not be allowed to be brought onto the plane.
Each passenger may bring only one transparent ziplocked bag (1L or smaller) onto the plane.
Any quantity of baby food or medication in liquid/gel format, if it is reported to the TSA agent in advance, may be brought onto the plane.
Ziplocked bags must be brought by the customer. They can also be purchased at an airport convenience store.

Elimination of extra search for liquids at departure gates for the US or Australia
ㆍThe additional search for liquids conducted at departure gates for flights to the US (including US territories, such as Saipan) was eliminated as of December 22, 2014.
ㆍThe additional search for liquids conducted at departure gates for flights to Australia was eliminated as of December 8, 2014.
ㆍPassengers heading to the US or Australia are asked to pick up all liquids and gels at the pick-up location in person.
